Maulana Nadeem Ul Wajdi had U.S. citizenship and resided in Chicago. He had traveled to the U.S. about a month ago. Maulana Nadeem-ul-Wajdi, an invited member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and a renowned scholar of Arabic, passed away in the U.S. due to a prolonged illness. He was 70 years old. He was a prominent figure in the Islamic world. A resident of Mohalla Khanqah Deoband dist Saharanpur, Maulana Nadeem-ul-Wajdi was not only a distinguished Arabic scholar but also an accomplished author. He wrote dozens of books on various subjects, from which the current generation is benefiting.

Several prominent figures, including Maulana Arshad Madani, President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind; Mufti Abul Qasim Nomani, Rector of Darul Uloom; Maulana Sufiyan Qasmi, Rector of Darul Uloom Waqf and member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board; Maulana Mahmood Madani, Maulana Abdul Khaliq Madrasi, Mufti Zainul Islam, Mufti Mohammad Ullah, Ashraf Usmani, former MLA Mawia Ali, Nazam Usmani, President of Nazar Foundation; Maulana Shakeb Qasmi, and Maulana Farid Mazahiri, District Vice-President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Hind, expressed their sorrow over his death.
Meanwhile, a condolence meeting was held at Jamia Tibbia Medical College, attended by Dr. Akhtar Saeed, Dr. Anwar Saeed, Dr. Shibli Iqbal, and Ahteshamul Haq, who expressed their grief and offered prayers for his forgiveness.
